Meet The Chef
Katy Vinson
Katy's passion for culinary arts began in the heartland of Abilene, Kansas, where she was raised. Growing up, the kitchen was the hub of her family, and food was always at the center of their lives. With a family background in cooking—both her brother and sister have worked in catering—it’s no surprise that Katy’s first job was in food service. She also served as the Catering Director at Kansas State University for seven years before transitioning to education.

With 25 years of experience in education, Katy found immense satisfaction in helping her students discover their passion in the kitchen, guiding them to a love for creating food and the joy of pleasing others. Now retired, she is embarking on an exciting new venture with her business, "To The Table." Katy is eager to continue sharing her love of cooking with the community, staying true to her dedication to bringing people together through her creations. Guided by her family values, her mission is to bring more families to the table, where memories are made, and connections are strengthened.
